The Calanques National Park is an exceptional site, with a unique marine and land heritage that is most pleasant to discover and most important to respect. ‘Snorkelling’ is a surface aquatic activity which encourages experience sharing and makes wonder accessible to all. This unique approach helps us realise this importance and beauty of a marine life we’re mostly unaware of.
Full of beautiful encounters and emotions, this wonderful experience turns out to be essential in the process of conscience awakening to the importance of teaming up to protect seas and oceans as the common heritage of humanity.
Guided by an instructor, come and share this unique experience with DUNE Snorkeling and be moved…
For 50 years, Marseille has been writing the history of diving and now offers the amazing natural scenery of the Calanques National Park as a snorkelling area. DUNE Snorkeling brings the immense beauty of the Mediterranean Sea bed to you in a safe and adapted structure in order to make it accessible to the general public. DUNE Snorkeling activities are always conducted in small groups by a keen and experienced guide. You will be given a complete description of the activity, always with utter respect for the natural underwater parameters, which will be clearly mentioned during the presentation. In order to adapt to each and every individual, the sites will be sheltered and reassuring to ease the practice and yet amaze and fascinate you. Special attention will be paid to the choice of the right gear for your comfort and safety, guaranteeing a positive experience. Outward and return journeys will take place on-board our purposely conceived boat. Boarding from docks or water has been made more accessible: the seats on the deck all have a back for a greater comfort. For the sake of the environment, we have chosen to use the cleanest engine on the market- the Suzuki ‘lean burn’- to power our boat. Once in the water, you will have plenty of time to get in tune with the marine fauna and flora, to awake your senses to new unexpected forms of life. Last but not least, in a permanent effort to improve our services and to better meet your requirements, you will be free to make the most of our premises in order to share your experience with other snorkelers or guides before waving us goodbye with a heavy heart.
